Life Transitions

2186107033Facing change isn’t easy.

Everything around you changes, and you don’t think you’re ready. There are choices everywhere, and you don’t know which is correct.

Questions arise. “Am I good enough to make my dreams come true? Are these even my dreams? Will others like the real me? It looks like everyone else isn’t struggling – they are so aesthetic, and their lives look perfect – what is wrong with me? I want to be independent and confident; how do I get there? Why am I so different?”

As you look around, you seem so behind everyone else. They are living happy lives while having such a life doesn’t seem likely for you.

You’ve tried it all, but the pressure is too much. The number of decisions you need to make feels daunting. So, your brain feels paralyzed, and you stay the same, and nothing changes, whereas everything keeps changing around you.

Therapy can help you deal with those changes.

Therapy is where the hard work is done, and perspectives change, leading to opportunities and shifts in confidence as you strive to deal with those transitions.

The paralysis you feel is real. Our brain gives us signals to freeze when we are significantly overwhelmed because the body feels it is a threat. Confidence can build once you can turn inward and do the work to discover your true, unique identity.

Some of the work involves skill building to learn how to handle negative patterns effectively, and other components connect to brain science education so you can understand how your body works to acknowledge and identify imbalances of chemicals that come in the form of misperceptions.

Let’s give it a try together.
